I had a fantastic stay at this cozy family-run hotel. Great value for the money and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beautiful beach and surrounded by convenient amenities like supermarkets and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

The breakfast offerings could be more inclusive for vegans, although they did have fresh fruit and cereal options available.

As a seasoned traveller, it was exactly what I expected considering the price of the rooms.It will come as no surprise to everybody who knows me that the price was what I liked best. However, I am easily pleased! I did hear of one couple who had €70 missing from their room-but everybody should be aware that valuables should be safely secured. There are safes in the rooms for a small charge. The draught San Miguel beer was excellent at only €1.70 per half litre and the company of a delightful couple from Leicestershire was superb. For me, it was everything I expected from a budget hotel.

The towels could be a lot better-I ended up using my own beach towel.

The rooms at Hostal Bonavista are simply delightful. With their tiled floors and bright decor, they create a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. I particularly loved the private balcony, which offered a lovely view of the surroundings. The air conditioning ensured a comfortable temperature, and the safe provided peace of mind. it was a great place to unwind and relax after a day of exploration.

Personally, I found the front desk safe to be a bit small. However, I understand that this is just my opinion and others might find it perfectly adequate.

The hotel is close to the seaside, the staff is very helpful and nice.

There's no conditioner in the room, was very noisy on the street/seaside, but ok on the patio side.

It is very cheap, close both to the sea and barcelona (there is a train station) the staff is absolutely kind, it is a windy place so the air conditioning is not require. Breakfast is ok!

The watchman is not so kind as the other staff member.... they don't speak english so well, so a little bit of spanish is suggested

The rooms at Hostal Bonavista have bright tiles floors and a safe, which gave me a sense of security. I loved the private balcony in the bright rooms, it felt so refreshing to have my morning coffee there. The double room was cozy and had a lovely balcony. The tiled floors added a touch of elegance to the room. The functional and pleasant environment of the 30 rooms made me feel right at home. Having air conditioning in the double room was a lifesaver during those hot summer nights. The room offered a front desk safe, which gave me peace of mind during my stay.

Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the tile/marble floors in the double room. Just a personal preference though!

No condition in the number, no fridge, the rooms that are facing the sea are very noisy!!

The rooms is simple, but comfortable. Every room has a small balcony and you can spend in evening and relax.

The breakfast. Every morning is the same and no differenties. If you stay till a week is fine, but if longer it is not a good choise.

our recent stay in calella was amazing, but this time at hostal bonavista was even better. the room was perfect for us, with a spacious bathroom and a cozy balcony. the location was ideal, close to shops, the city center, and the beach. the staff was friendly and helpful, making our vacation truly enjoyable.

Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with a convenient location close to the beach, train station, and main shopping street.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the staff working at the hotel to be a bit more attentive and considerate towards us. Sometimes, they seemed a bit too busy and focused on other tasks, forgetting to give us the extra care and attention we sometimes need.

I highly recommend this hotel for a few days' stay. Despite a few minor drawbacks, it was an excellent choice for its quality and affordability.
